Joining the Guild

Congratulations and welcome! There are a few administrative hoops to go through — easier than ringing rounds and call changes though!

The Guild, when formed in 1899, wanted to focus on the strength of its branches — which it still does today, over 125 years later. For this reason, elections to the Guild are dealt with at branch level (understandably, since your local ringers will know you better than anyone else).

How to Join

1
Firstly — you will need to complete the application form, with your proposer and seconder (and, if you are over 18, provide photo ID of yourself).
2
Secondly — when elected, you then need to register with the Guild on Membermojo and pay your subscription (you can pay via your branch secretary/treasurer if that is easier).

When your membership has been ratified by the Membership Secretary, you will receive an email and — shortly afterwards — you will be presented with your Membership Certificate.

Welcome Again

Enjoy your ringing and never be worried about asking for help and advice. Ringing is a great form of both mental and physical exercise — and cheaper than joining the local gym!
